Ministries

Campus

Sparticipation

The college ministry seeks to encourage college students (undergrads and grads) to strengthen their relationship with God and with one another. Together with community residents, we strive to enrich that relationship and to live for Him in all we do. Call Pastor Robinson or the church office for more information about student leadership groups and campus involvement!

Children

Children’s Christmas Play

The Children’s ministry seeks creative ways to teach God’s word, to know His love for us, what it means to live for Him each day and the importance of our faith in Christ. We provide fun activities and action filled Bible stories to read each week.

Teens

Youth Hot Chocolate Assembly

The Teen ministry (6th – 12th grades) seeks innovative ways to encourage and engage youth in christian studies, mature in steadfast faith, grow as disciples of Jesus and to spread the message of grace and good news to the world.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministers

“Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2, NRSV). Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one caring and confidential ministry that provides Christian support and care to those who are hurting in our congregation. Stephen Ministers are lay caregivers in the congregation trained and empowered to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care.

Prayer Ministry

The Prayer Community welcomes all resident members and college students to experience the awesome power of God through prayer.  The Prayer Community is made up of volunteers who have committed to praying for others while always respecting and honoring the confidentiality of each prayer request.  If you would like to join the Prayer Community, click HERE.  If you would like to submit a prayer request click HERE. Prayer requests can also be placed in a confidential “prayer box” located in the Chapel Narthex. Adam Lawver (lawverad@msu.edu) will initiate all prayer ministry email communications.

“But as for me, my prayer is to you, O Lord. At an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness.” Psalm 69:13
