It's almost March! And for most of you this time just means, get through midterms and Spring Break here I come! Oh and apparently there might be some basketball games during this month too.

But back to the topic of Spring Break. Since Wednesday ON FIRE is a student led service, majority of the leaders will be off on a Spring Break Servant Event. So this means no Wednesday ON FIRE on March 10th. There will still be a Lenten Service on Wednesday night, so feel free to come out to the Lenten Service at 7:30pm.

Hope everyone had an awesome time at Ash Wednesday service, and is ready for Wednesday ON FIRE to resume!

As a reminder, we are in Lent with the Lenten Double Header on Wednesday nights. So instead of coming to Wednesday ON FIRE at 7:09pm, you will need to get there 10 minutes earlier, as Wednesday ON FIRE will start at 6:59pm. Wednesday ON FIRE will last until 7:29pm and then a more traditional Lenten service will start at 7:30 til 8pm.

As a reminder, no Wednesday ON FIRE on the 17th, instead you can come to an Ash Wednesday service!

And with the exciting news of February comes Lent soon!
Don't worry, nothing crazy this week, however on the 17th there will be no Wednesday ON FIRE service, instead an Ash Wednesday Service at 7pm. So by all means, go to the Ash Wednesday Service, and Wednesday ON FIRE will resume the week after at 6:59pm on the 24th. Why the earlier time? Why because there will be a Lenten service at 7:29pm-8pm! So one hour gives you a sweet back to back combo of services!

Oh no! It's the last Wednesday ON FIRE for the semester! Luckily, it will start up again next semester. And this week Matt Anderson is speaking with awesome songs, so it will be a rockin' end to Wednesday ON FIRE for the semester.

And remember there is a planning meeting next week Sunday (11/22) after Evening Service (and before Evening Service is a Thanksgiving dinner starting a 5pm, good food, great people, you know you want to come!)

Wednesday ON FIRE Fall Semester 2009

Hey everybody,
We are quickly approaching the new school year, and I hope that everyone has had a great summer.

Here is a short schedule of upcoming events where you can get involved.

September 2nd at 6:30 there will be an organizational meeting held at Martin Luther Chapel for anyone who wants to get involved with Wednesday ON FIRE. Pizza will be provided, so please let me know if you are planning on coming.

At 7:09 on September 2nd is the first band practice for Wednesday ON FIRE

September 9th at 7:09 is the first Wednesday ON FIRE of this school year!!
