Gifted to Serve: Lenten Worship and Bible Study

Spiritual Gifts:

What are they? Who gets them? What do we do with them?

The Stewardship and Spiritual Care and Growth teams invite you to spend the season of Lent considering how you are gifted by the Holy Spirit, and how your gifts might further the work of God's Kingdom. Pastor Curt will lead a Bible study on Spiritual Gifts on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am, beginning Sunday, March 10 and lasting for 6 weeks.

Midweek Lenten Services: Join us at 7 pm each Wednesday during Lent as we focus on spiritual gifts. Music for the services will be provided by Mary Grace as well as members of our Wednesday ON FIRE band.

  • March 13: The Giver (Acts 1:1-8)
  • March 20: The Significance of the Gifts (1 Corinthians 12:1-11)
  • March 27: The Gifts – Different but Equal (1 Corinthians 12:12-27)
  • April 3: Which Gift? (Ephesians 4:11-12; 1 Corinthians 12:28; Romans 12: 6-8)
  • April 10: The Gifts in Use (1 Corinthians 14:12)

Go Out to Serve: Finally, during the week of April 10-17, there will be several opportunities for you to use your gifts through a number of different service projects, here at the Chapel and around our community. Watch for more details to come!
