Matching Gifts
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans members (benefit and associate) age 16 and older are eligible to participate in the GivingPlus® program and have their gifts to Martin Luther Chapel matched according to the program guidelines. Thrivent Financial has earmarked $24 million for the GivingPlus® program. Using those funds, they will contribute $1 for every $2 donated by members to the ministry at Martin Luther Chapel.

Your donation of up to $600 (or more) will be matched by Thrivent Financial - $1 for every $2 donated. This means that your gift of $600 or more will bring an additional gift of $300 to Martin Luther Chapel. |

Members can make multiple donations totaling $600 or more (i.e. monthly, quarterly, etc.) in a given year and have Martin Luther Chapel receive supplemental matched dollars as the paperwork is received and processed. |

If you have a spouse or family member who is currently a Thrivent Financial member, you and others in your household may become an "Associate Member" (at no cost) and also be eligible for this matching gift program. |

An Associate Membership is available for non Thrivent members for a $10 membership fee that covers all members of your household and thus makes all your gifts eligible for matching. Obtain the form now. |

Stock or mutual fund share transfers are also eligible for matching. |

Special bonus for volunteers
When a Thrivent member contributes 25 or more hours of volunteer service to Martin Luther Chapel, Thrivent Financial will contribute an additional $25. Be sure to indicate your volunteer service by filling in the appropriate bubble on the GivingPlus Member gift form.
