Laura Hohnstadt

Hi, my name is Laura Hohnstadt, and I'm a sophomore studying civil engineering at Michigan State. I chose MSU indirectly because of the great ice cream, and I have since found a few other things I like about the school. I am a member of Engineers Without Borders and I play several IM sports, but my favorite aspect of college is making good use of my student discount at the Wharton Center. I love reading, drawing, crocheting, and playing board games, especially when those activities are bolstered by the presence of my cat Euclid. I spend most of my time pondering life's big questions in the realms of science, theology, psychology, and literature (especially Harry Potter), and I love to exchange ideas with others to continue to learn new ways to think about the world. One of the greatest blessings in my life has been the opportunity to discuss such things with friends from my Lutheran high school, and I am excited about my position as a peer minister because I hope to be a resource to others when they need such a friend. So please, if you need someone to talk to, don't hesitate to contact me!
